My goal on Reddit isn't to advertise—it's to share honest, experience-based information about Vidanta resorts, memberships, and vacation rentals. About Me

I'm a retired pharmacy professor, lifelong traveler, and long-time Vidanta owner. Over the years, I've stayed at multiple Vidanta resorts, experienced almost all accommodation levels, and spent countless weeks exploring everything from the Grand Luxxe to the Grand Mayan.

More than twenty years ago, my wife and I started helping Vidanta members rent their unused vacation weeks. What began as helping friends and fellow owners has grown into MayanRental, a business that has helped thousands of families enjoy Vidanta resorts while helping owners recover some of their maintenance fees.

Everything I write—whether on Reddit or this website—is based on firsthand experience. When I know something from personal experience, I'll say so. When I'm offering an opinion, I'll make that clear as well.
